This Cookie Policy explains how Finzu Ltd ("Finzu," "we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on finzu.ai and across the Finzu platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Finzu Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16707359), registered office 14th Floor, 33 Cavendish Square, London, England, W1G 0PW.
This policy currently covers the finzu.ai website and the Finzu web application. If we release a native mobile app, we will update this policy and provide equivalent controls within the app, since the same legal requirements apply to similar technologies (such as device storage and identifiers) used in apps, not just to browser cookies.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is being used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which this policy refers to collectively as "cookies."
These are required for the website and platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are set automatically, without requiring consent.
We also store a small piece of technical information in your browser's local storage to prevent duplicate connections when you have multiple tabs open. This is not used to track you across sites.
We do not currently set any functional cookies beyond those listed as strictly necessary above. If this changes, for example, if we introduce cookies to remember dashboard layout or display preferences, we will list them here and, where required, ask for your consent.
These help us understand how visitors use finzu.ai and the platform, so we can improve them. They are only set with your consent, given through the cookie banner.
PostHog, used to measure site and platform usage and understand feature adoption. We use PostHog's EU-hosted infrastructure, meaning analytics data is processed within the EU. Where session recording is enabled, PostHog may capture anonymised screen activity to help us diagnose problems and improve the product; sensitive fields (such as financial figures and bank details) are excluded or masked from recordings. IP addresses are not captured by default on our PostHog configuration.
PostHog sets a first-party cookie to distinguish you from other users. It does not set third-party cookies and does not share data with advertising or tracking networks.
These are used to deliver and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and to show relevant content on other sites.
Only strictly necessary cookies are set automatically. Functional, analytics, and marketing cookies are set only with your consent, given through the cookie banner.
Some cookies and similar technologies are placed by third parties who provide services on our behalf.
Our sign-in system is operated by Finzu on our own infrastructure. Although it runs on a separate part of our domain, it is not a third-party service, it's part of Finzu's own platform.
Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them.
You can manage non-essential cookies at any time:
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for legal and regulatory reasons, including when we launch a native mobile app. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
